    In December 2018 the renowned actor Ruy de Carvalho released another book, a beautiful title, O Amor é Isto.

    The book compiles reflections that are not exhausted in the memories of his long life, also in the perception of the Gift that does not resign at the age of 91.

    On November 26, 2018, on the occasion of the 7th edition of the Feast of Fado, Ruy de Carvalho toasted and enlightened us with his presence in this fado house, Café Luso, which opened exactly in the year in which the actor was born, 1927.

    Together with him, at Fado do Fado, relatives, namely his son, João Carvalho, and also a very special fado friend, Adelaide Sofia, who participates with these actors in the show “Trovas & Canções”.

    In 2019 we have the 6th edition of the Monthly Artistic Residencies, which take place in this fado house, Café Luso.

    The Monthly Artistic Residencies come in the wake of the school value attributed to historic fado houses in Lisbon like this, which joins the famous fado contests.

    Café Luso opens its doors in the first line to debutantes artists who want to have a learning and presentation experience in a showroom, but also to professionals who see in this initiative a way of getting together and acting in a space of reference in the Lisbon fado scene.

    At the Café Luso fado house, the Christmas party is being held today, December 11, because the workers deserve this affection and relaxed fellowship at a time of the year when we all become closer.

    An auction should be highlighted whose revenue reverts to the Cultural Association “Moinho da Juventude” .

    The revenue from the auction will be doubled by the Group, which thus reassumes and underlines its social role.

    The party promises to be lively, also with karaoke.
