JULIETA ESTRELA, THE FADO SINGER WAS BORN WITH IT

She started as a young girl, by the hand of her mother and aunt in the Sabá (beer house), on Sunday afternoons.

Later, she made her debut at Cesária, fado house.

In 1955 she won Queens of the Singers and Aces of Fado, ex-aequo with the fado singer Florinda Maria, and with t obtained the professional portfolio.

In 1957 she made her professional debut at Café Luso, “Fado Cathedral”.

One of the many “stars” that have crowned this house of fairies of glory.
